    Denna ätt, som härstammar från en Böhmisk Adelig ätt med namnet Schultis, blev i Sverige 1652 naturaliserad genom majoren, sedermera guverneuren och Generalen Martin Schultz och Cornetten , sedan Överste Löjtnanten Johan Philip Schultz, Czultzecij kallad (sonsöner av Commandanten och Överste Löjtnanten Herman Schultz gennat Schultheiss). Denna ätt tog som adelig ej i Sverige introduktion. Ovannänmda Martin Schoultz blev 1674 upphöjd i

    svensk Friherrelig värdighet med namnet Schultz von Ascheraden (introducerad 1675 under N:o 58). Denna Friherreliga ätt är i Sverige utdöd men fortlever i Ryssland och Östersjöprovinserna. Ovannämnde Öfverste Löjtnant Johan Philip Schultz bosatte sig i Littauen (denna ättegren blef der såsom adelig immatriculerad med namnet Czultzecij . Därifrån kom ätten åter till Sverige och Finland och Öfverste Löjtnanten Johan Philip Schultz' ättlingar i 4:e led, Hofrättdsrådet Carl Gustaf von Schoultz, blev 1840 naturaliserad Finsk Adelsman (introd 1840).

    Adolph married Agnes May BONNAR in 1906, widowed in 1921, he married Nell SMITH October 27, 1920, St. Alphonsos Church. They had a daughter Eleanor.

    Adolph appears on Wheeling City Directory as a candy maker.

    His death certificate indicates his parents are Joseph Hackenberg and Sophia/Sophie GREOGER. He was a laborer at a hotel, Sister Maritiza of Wellsburg was informant.
