Born in Unterebersbach, Bavaria, Germany. He was in Precinct 5 in Kentucky after arriving in the US in July of 1870 at the age of 22. After moving to Wheeling, WV he became a member of Saint Alphonsus church. Father of Albert, Vincent, Frank. He's buried in Mount Calvary Cemetery in the Kirchner family plot.
